  7.     Have you ever noticed how TV curmudgeons can really step in
  8. it? Last week CBS News suspended 60 Minutes' Andy Rooney, 71,
  9. for three months without pay because of racist remarks in The
  10. Advocate, a gay magazine. Blacks have "watered down their
  11. genes," Rooney was quoted as saying, because less intelligent
  12. ones have the most children. He denies making the statement.
